Album

Subliminal Plastic Motives is the debut album from rock band Self, and is perhaps their most well-known release. The album was recorded entirely by Matt and his brother, Mike. The album found some modest success with MTV and flagship radio stations like KROQ-FM. Once the band was solidified, videos were made for So Low and Cannon. The album was released by Spongebath Records and was immediately picked up by Zoo Entertainment now Volcano Entertainment. Critical reception was very positive, with. Album 1995 12 Songs. The core of Self is Matt Mahaffey, a self-contained singersongwriterinstrumentalistproducer who obviously has a voracious appetite for many styles of music including power pop, hip-hop, even jazz. Cannon got me into the band enough to buy their CD but this is by far one of my favorite tracks off of Subliminal Plastic Motives. 2 Well, you'll - Subliminal Plastic Motives 1995.
