Magdolna Magdi Rúzsa Hungarian pronunciation: Serbian: Ружа Магдолна, Ruža Magdolna born 28 November 1985 is a Hungarian singer who won the 2006 title of Megasztár Megastar, Hungary's nationwide talent search, that resembles, but is not based on, Pop Idol. As the winner of the category Newcomer of the Year at the Fonogram Hungarian Music Awards in 2007, she represented Hungary at the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, Finland with the song Unsubstantial Blues. Rúzsa Magdi full name: Rúzsa Magdolna was born in 1985 in Kishegyes, Serbia. Originally a gynecologist, maternity nurse she was discovered in the Hungarian TV show Megasztár, a local version of American Idol. Blowing away the judges with her natural talent she made it all the way to the top to become the 2006 winner of the show. She released her debut album titled Ördögi Angyal literal translation: Diabolical Angel under the name Rúzsa Magdi.
