Once again pushing the limits of rock 'n' roll, Trying Not To Try is a solid album from the opening second all the way to the very last. Tracks include: Black Star, Fifty-Five, Alex, FNL, All Around America, Who's the Chump Now, Brain Dead, Mongrel, Trying Not To Try, and Dance Hall. 8 stars out of 10. Trying not to try is their best effort out of everything Rod Laver have put out. It was also their most successful one too. I'm not going to go into detail about each and every song but they are all pretty good and the album has very little filler. Trying not to Try is in the style of the raprock genre of the late 90's and early 2000's so if your into secular bands such as Limp Bizkit, Korn, . etc, then you won't be disappointed. Why Rod Laver never got the recognition like any of those aforementioned bands is beyond me. Lack of promotion is my guess. But they can rap. Album starts at BPM, ends at BPM 0, with tempos within the -BPM range. Try refreshing the page if dots are missing. Go To Top. We are the largest database of beats per minutes in the world
