I can't believe this album doesn't have a review. The H Ensemble was the bomb. Apfelbaum was playing in the Bay Area a lot when I lived in SF in the '90s, so I was lucky to see both the Heiroglyphics and the Pagan Love Orchestra, Jai Utal's outfit, wherein Apfelbaum played drums.
