Dressed to Kill is the third studio album by American hard rock band Kiss, released on March 18, 1975. It was produced by Casablanca Records president Neil Bogart, as the label's financial situation at the time did not permit the hiring of a professional producer. Dressed to Kill was re-released in 1997 in a remastered version. Possibly due to the short length of the album, original vinyl versions had long pauses between each track to create the illusion that the sides were longer than they were. Dressed to Kill is a 1975 album from American hard rock group Kiss. It is the band's third studio album and is unique for having been produced by the president of Casablanca Records, Neil Bogart. C'mon and Love Me, and Rock and Roll All Nite were released as singles. Both failed to rise high on the charts until Rock and Roll All Nite was released in its live format as a single later that year off their double live album Alive. Released five months after Hotter Than Hell, Dressed to Kill is the third Kiss studio album it's another strong collection from a band that were mostly becoming known for their outrageous stage show. At the time, their record label had so little money on hand that label president Neil Bogart produced the sessions himself, believing correctly that the band were one hit single away from stardom. The single should have been Rock and Roll All Nite, but in its studio version, the song failed to break out. A live version of the song from their next album, Alive, would do the trick.
