Not only is the album an odyssey into cosmic mystery, Geomatic also bestows the music with almost three-dimensional layers of depth, particularly noticeable in the ambience of Dead Forever and Final Dimensional Shift

This is an excellent album. I had never heard of Geomatic prior to this release and I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was blown away upon listening. If you're a fan of tribal stuff with industrial influence (This Morn Omina, Tzolk'in, etc) than you should pick this up immediately.

Like WinterElegy, I also had not heard Geomatic prior to this release and was equally blown away. This release is HEAVILY textured medium-paced tribal (emphasis on the electronics) with middle eastern instrumentation/influence interspersed with sporadic vocoded spoken word (not in a cliched cheesy fashion). I would suggest more trance elements (older Doof - IAT era or even Shpongle and equal production values) than industrial, but defintiely NOT for the dance floor. It's very cerebral - EVERY element is intentional. Every track is well crafted - no filler material. There are electronic artists who let their gear master them, and then there are those that take full advantage of their instruments' capabilities. Couple the latter with actual musical ideas and an understanding of compostion and you have Geomatic. It's bloody intelligent and brilliant! Hats off to the Dutchies for evolving beyond gabber. LOL
