"Kammerkonzert" for saxophone solo (sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor, bass), flute (piccolo), clarinet (Eb, bass clarinet), 2 percussions, harp, mandolin, guitar, violin and double bass. Written at the request of Daniel Kientzy.

"Désordre dérisoire" (1982-83) for soprano, flute (piccolo), clarinet (bass clarinet), horn, cello, percussion and piano. Written to a text by Paul Eluard, from the cycle "Moralité du Sommeil", at the request of the Ensemble 2e2m.

"Aquarius" (1974-80) for 2 pianists and 2 percussionists.

"Sursum Corda Triplum" for flutes, percussion, harp, piano, harpsichord and string trio. This work is dedicated to Paul Mefano and was composed for the tenth anniversary of the Ensemble 2e2m.

"Musique Élémentaire de Concert" Elementary concert music for flute (piccolo, alto and bass flutes), oboe (cor anglais, soprano heckelphone), clarinet (basset horn), percussion, piano, harpsichord (celesta) and cello.

Recorded 1984-87 at: Studio 106 (1, 2, 5), Centre Olivier Messiaen, Champigny , Centre Georges Pompidou (live recording) .

Costin Miereanu born 27 February 1943 is a French composer and musicologist of Romanian birth. Miereanu was born in Bucharest and studied at the Music Academy there from 1960 to 1966 with Alfred Mendelsohn, Dan Constantinescu, and Lazar Octavian Cosma, and later at the École des Hautes Études et Sciences Sociales, at the Schola Cantorum, and at the University of Paris VIII, where he was awarded first prizes in writing, analysis, music history, esthetics, orchestration, and composition. Costin started out illustrating his bands demos, using Heavy Metal Magazine, Romania's sole heavy music publication, as a reference. For the past 13 years, he has produced numerous artworks, for bands, record labels, festival organizers and promoters. He is also a video director and animator, having made videos for Psychotic Waltz, for example.
