This allows even the most unsophisticated jazz consumer the opportunity to note the difference in the various versions, while contrasting the player's widely diverse performance styles. I only listened to this album once when I gave it a rating of 4 and after a second time I'm putting it at a 5. It's some of the best live versions Coltrane as done and this is probably his most known session as well. The album starts off with Spiritual and it's a slow 13 minute number that's fairly good.
