Caribou's 2010 album Swim was one of the best albums of the year past, and a producer named Mike Sadatmousavi has excitingly remixed the entire thing. Under the moniker Altrice, Sadatmousavi reinvigorated each track into something with distinctive glamour while paying homage the integrity of the original songs. Altrice also renamed the album Stem, and changed the title of each track. Each iteration carries a slow molasses feeling, a great contrast to Caribou's original energetic heaviness they are thought-provoking and give the feeling of a infinite night walk next to the ocean, ebbing and flowing.
