Makoto Kubota fronted The Sunset Gang Yuyaka Gakudan and called their name Makoto Kubota & the Sunset Gang 久保田麻琴と夕焼け楽団. In Japan, they recorded a series of albums during the mid 70s, from 1973s Machiboke to 1977s Dixie Fever, incorporating a range of musical styles from blues to West Coast rock.
