Данный альбом проекта М.О.У.Б. (Великий Новгород) создан из самодельных инструментов. Разработка и сборка производилась из промышленного "мусора" - различных частей механизмов и бракованных деталей. Звуки, издаваемые этими устройствами пропущены через множества примочек и приправлены записями звуков города на диктофон.
В основном, все это издаёт шум, трещит и гудит, однако, имеются и акустические инструменты, а также тянущиеся эмбиент партии.

В названии "Рубеж" именно это и отражено - переход автора от электронной и абстракт хип-хоп музыки к живому исполнению на аналоговом самодельном оборудовании.
