This is by far the best release in the whole Hypnotic library. From start to finish, Terrortrance From Hell is absolutely UNRELENTING in it's onslaught of ear rape. What I like so much about this CD is that it sounds like it was made recently. The production value is high and samples are cleverly used throughout the whole CD. Early Terrortrance. What I like so much about this CD is that it sounds like it was made recently. The production value is high and samples are cleverly used throughout the whole CD.Some of the CD is just full of humor. "Attention" is so profane it's funny and random german voice samples are thrown in "Sparechicken" for comedic effect. There are a few standout tracks to mention though. "Sparechicken", "Overdose", and "Angelwalk" are probably the hardest on this CD. The three best. Blugar Showboats comes in at a close fourth, but honestly who's counting at this point. This is true underground, non-cookie cutter Hard Techno. Sadly Hypnotic sold out and no longer releases such quality material but you owe it to yourself to get this CD if you like your techno Hard, Fast, and Crude.

"Theme from Latex" was one of the first techno tracks I ever heard. Simple, fast, and fantastic, the track just continues to deliver the thumping beats and synth candy for its entire duration. The rest of this compilation is more hardcore-oriented, and I particularly like Van Battle's classic "Spare Chicken." What a pounding, merciless, and utterly unremitting tune. It's another fairly simple tune, but the elements are put together to brutal perfection. Play this one LOUD."Overdose" is outstanding, as well, though perhaps not quite on the level as the two tunes I just described.Bottom line, Thomas Elers really delivered the goods with this album, and all these years later, I'm still rocking out!

Another thing I like about his music is how unpredictable it is. You never know what the next hook, sound, or hilarious sample he's going to throw at you is going to be. Stuff can change in an instant. Totally unpredictable and really makes you go WOW. I recommend you see the footage of them performing live back in 1992. It's well worth watching. You don't get that with EDM today. EDM today sounds extremely repetitive and predictable. You know the sounds they're going to use before they use them.

His username is " te123". I can only assume that's him. From the gist of what he said I basically gathered that music changed, (probably for the worse), and that he simply wasn't interested in releasing anymore stuff. He did release quite a bit of material with some 120+ credits under his name.Interestingly enough, his close partner, Jannik Vittrup, is still releasing really cool Industrial music under the band name "Monospore". If you enjoy Industrial or EBM i definetley reccomend you searching for him on Bandcamp. I don't think he makes Hard Acid or Gabber anymore though. No clue. And yeah, I agree. He wasn't "commercial" at all. I have this CD sitting on my shelf right now with my Bose music player. It's 24 years old and still sounds amazing, especially when you have a good pair of speakers, amp, and subwoofer.

Ha, yes, that "oooh the nipple" line always made me laugh too. In any case, if you go over to Thomas Elers' Discogs page, you'll see that I commented about his work, and a little while later, he left me a very interesting reply (which gave a quick bio and explanation for why he eventually stopped producing). Bottom line, he was definitely more concerned with the tunes themselves than fame or fortune, clearly.

If you listen closely you can hear some hilarious samples. I heard one from Blade Runner and "Oh my nipple" on the Brannon Beer track. This guy is so weird about how he uses different artist names for each song and you THINK it's by a bunch of different people but it's just 1 or 2 people. I don't know if that was a trick to sell more albums or not but I have a feeling this guy didn't care about money when making this album.

This is a good collection of Electronica that's fast and loud, without crossing the line (for me) and being too fast and loud. But, my favorite tune on the CD is 'I want more life'. I enjoyed listening to the sampled voices. Then I watched Blade Runner (a favorite movie of mine) and realized where the sampled voices were coming from (Rutger Hauer). Way cool! 'Attention' is a little too obscene for me, but other than that, this one is in the regular mix.
