Steal This Album is the third studio album by American hip hop duo The Coup. It was released on Dogday Records on November 10, 1998. It peaked at number 37 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, as well as number 51 on the Top R&BHip-Hop Albums chart. The album's title is a nod to Steal This Book by social activist Abbie Hoffman. In 2015, Fact placed it at number 13 on the 100 Best Indie Hip-Hop Records of All Time list. Steal This Album is the third studio album by System of a Down, released on November 26, 2002, on American Recordings. Produced by Rick Rubin and Daron Malakian, and reached 15 in the Billboard Top 200. Both Serj Tankian and John Dolmayan have called Steal This Album their favorite System of a Down release. This album was released shortly after a collection of medium-quality MP3s found their way onto the Internet under the unofficial name Toxicity II, a year after the release of the group's multi.
