I bought this tribute album because the Raveonettes do The End, and I'm a fan of theirs. They do a nice two-verse rendition, leaving out the narrated weird scenes inside the gold mine passages about intra-family murder and strongly implied Oedipal sex. Too bad, because they'd do a great job. I've listened to the CD start-to-finish four times now, and it grows on me.
