All the Billboard Top Rock'N'Roll Hits discs for years 1960 through 1969 were originally released in 1988/89, and rereleased in 1993 with revised track listings, due to licensing restrictions. The 1993 discs replaced tracks by Elvis, the Four Seasons, Motown, the Byrds, and a few others that don't seem to fit into a pattern. The original discs used the black five-letter Rhino logo and capitalized only the first letter of each word in the titles. The rerelease discs used the red oval Rhino logo and capitalized the full words in the titles.

Billboard Top Rock'n'Roll Hits: 1960 is a compilation album released by Rhino Records in 1988, featuring ten hit recordings from 1960. One song included on this disc, The Twist by Chubby Checker, is not an original CameoParkway recording but a late 60's re-recording. The reason was because CameoParkway's collection of songs was not able to be licensed for release on CD at that time. Rhino, therefore could not include the original recording.
