Desire is the second studio album by American post-punk band Tuxedomoon, released in 1981 by Ralph Records. The album was issued on CD in 1987 by Cramboy, bundled together with No Tears. By the critics who reviewed it, Desire was less favourably received than the group's first album, Half-Mute. All tracks are written by Steven Brown, Peter Dachert, Blaine L. Formed in 1977 by multi-instrumentalists Reininger and Brown, then two students of electronic music at San Francisco City College, with technical assistance from video artist Tommy Tadlock, Tuxedomoon started playing salons and accompanying performances by The Angels of Light, a San Francisco based, radical theater troup.
