Vinyl - LP - reissue used - EXM - RCA Victrola - VIC 1369 Mono - USA - 1968 - professional packaging lp cleaned by clearaudio machine and sold with February 22, 1941, Arturo Toscanini conducted Traubel and tenor Lauritz Melchior in excerpts from Wagnerian operas, including act 1, scene 3 of Die Walküre on the live radio broadcast concert of the NBC Symphony Orchestra. RCA Victor later released recordings of excerpts from the concert, as well as a classic studio recording of Traubel in Brünnhilde's Immolation Scene from Götterdämmerung. Wagner was an integral part of Arturo Toscanini's repertoire from the beginning of his career. He conducted his first complete opera, Der Fliegende Holländer, in 1893, when he was 26 two years later, he was in charge of the first ever Italian staging of Götterdämmerung. the prologue to Götterdämmerung, and Brünnhilde's Immolation, with soprano Helen Traubel and tenor Lauritz Melchior
