About Millions Now Living Will Never Die. Millions Now Living Will Never Die is the second studio album from American experimental rock band Tortoise. The 20 minute opening track Djed works as the centerpiece of this album and is an amalgamation of the many influences Tortoise pulls from. As the pulsating bass grows within the first minute, the repetitious krautrock-like drums punch in and establish a rigid groove.
