It was released in August 1998 as lead single from their debut album Sunburn. Written by Carl Bell, the single peaked at number two on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks charts, number 11 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart, number 37 on the Adult Top 40 chart and at number 42 on the Billboard Hot 100. Song of the Shimmering Way, Tom's third and final studio album released in 1977 on Satril Records will be released under liocense from HHO on Epona Records on 10th October 2013. This will mark the twentieth anniversary of Tom's passing. Also, enquiries are ongoing to try to release Tom's first LP Second City Spriritual on CD.
