Lost tapes that leaked in early 2008 and many assume to be part of his next Racional project after volumes 1 and 2, although nobody can say for sure whether they were recorded during the sessions of Vol 1 or 2, or even if Maia actually planned to put out a third volume to the series.
The files became known as "Tim Maia Racional Vol.3" and they sound very much like demos as the intros are unedited and their voices can be heard before songs start.
The tapes were discovered in 2000 by brazilian musical producer Eduardo Marote, who was given them by William Junior, a sound engineer whose father owned a recording studio during the 70's, and then kept secret after being rejected by record companies, and only shared with a few friends until they leaked in early 2008.
The tapes had no labels, and track names were given by Marote.
