Theo Travis born 7 July 1964 in Birmingham, England is a British saxophonist, flautist and composer. He is best known for being a member of Soft Machine which he joined in 2006 while the group was still using the Legacy suffix and for being a member of Gong from 1999 to 2010. Travis received his degree in music from the University of Manchester specialising in the works of Shostakovich.
