Soft Winds - Herb Ellis. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. The Soft Winds, a trio consisting of pianist Lou Carter, guitarist Herb Ellis, and bassist Johnny Frigo, were originally members of the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra. From 1946-1950, they struggled along as an independent group, recording 16 selections for Majestic and Mercury that have yet to be reissued, as well as writing two hits Detour Ahead and I Told Ya I Love Ya, Now Get Out, before breaking up. They had a reunion during the 1995 Floating Jazz Festival, and with Frigo on violin and Keeter Betts on bass, they proved that the musical magic was still very much there. john cena am a bad man. passenger the boy cried a wolf. electric light orchestra train of gold. passenger the boy. sweetest girl wyclef jeans. l a x feat davido. рольф ловланд. оранжевые сны dj nejtrino dj baur remix ани лорак. Together with Frigo and Lou Carter, Ellis wrote the classic jazz standard Detour Ahead. The Soft Winds group was fashioned after the Nat King Cole Trio. They stayed together until 1952. Ellis then joined the Oscar Peterson Trio replacing Barney Kessel in 1953, forming what Scott Yanow would later on refer to as one of the most memorable of all the piano, guitar, and bass trios in jazz history. Guitarist Herb Ellis, pianist Lou Carter, and bassist John Frigo were all members of the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra when, in 1946, they decided to form a trio and go out on their own as the Soft Winds. Reminiscent, but not derivative of the Nat King Cole and Page Cavanaugh trios, the Soft Winds stayed together until 1950. Best known for jointly composing Detour Ahead and I Told Ya, I Love Ya, Now Get Out, the band struggled for a few years before breaking up
