The Runaways were an American all-girl rock band from Los Angeles, California, who performed from 1975 to 1979. Believed at the time to have been a novelty act formed by producer Kim Fowley, who thought the notion of five teenage girls dressed in leather and lingerie performing heavy metal music was highly marketable, the band released its eponymous first album in 1976. Lost Girls is the fifth studio album by English singer-songwriter Natasha Khan, known professionally as Bat for Lashes. It was released on 6 September 2019 through AWAL. It is Khan's first album since 2016's The Bride. The lead single Kids in the Dark was released on 10 June 2019. Khan has cited 1980s music and cinema as an inspiration for the record, citing artists such as Bananarama, Cyndi Lauper and The Blue Nile as well as film composer John Williams in an interview with The Line of Best Fit. Little Lost Girls was to have been accompanied by the semi-autobiographical feature Mama Weer all Crazee Now, which Jett ended up filming with actresses dressed up as the rest of the band. It was never completed, but her first release, Bad Reputation, would allow her to put to rest any claims that the Runaways were more puppets than musicians. Albums of artist: runaways. Great lead vocals by Joan Jett, Lita Ford's caliber on lead guitar is second to none and Sandy West's drumming is solid as always. I made this by piecing together various videos and pictures of the band throughout their short-lived career. This is the promo for the single, taken from the album of the same name. Quailty isn't great, but I haven't been able to find a good copy. It's cut short, so
