The Poppy Family was a late 1960s and early 1970s Canadian pop music group, based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Their second and last album Poppy Seeds was recorded with studio musicians after Terry Jacks released Craig and Satwant from the group. Later hits included That' Way You Goin' Billy, released in 1969, was the first album from Vancouver, British Columbia band The Poppy Family. They scored their biggest hit with title track, Which Way You Goin' Billy, which went to 1 in both Canada and Ireland and 2 on both the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the Cash Box Top 100 in the US. The album has yet to be released on modern formats and remains a rare vinyl collectible. Endless Sleep. Play album. Get album. A product of the Hippie generation, they brought a cleaner cut image, capitalizing on the vocal talents and good looks of Susan Jacks. Managed and produced by her husband Terry Jacks vocalsguitar, with Craig McCaw guitar and Satwan Singh drums, the group recorded two albums, from which came their best known songs Which Way You Goin', Billy and That's Where I Went Wrong 1969.
