Coast Garde offered up but three intoxicating numbers for me, and whileI can’t say that all songs by The Parties have been created equally well, though with downloads, you can easily create a sensational disc of some of the most wonderful historic sounding jangle-pop since Tom Petty or the Smithereens … songs that are a bit smoother, a bit more refined, songs that will weave their way into your soul and ride easily in your back pocket for years to come.
