Together Forever was the Marshall Tucker Band's 7th studio album. It was produced by Stewart Levine, founder of CHISA records. This was the band's last album produced for Capricorn Records. The name of the album reflects the Platonic love of the members towards one another. The band's follow-up album, their eighth, would be a compilation album entitled Greatest Hits. As a child of the 60's70's, I was pretty familiar with the Marshall Tucker Band from their hits from AOR album oriented radio. Growing up in the South, I have always been a fan of Southern Rock or Country Rock or Folk Rock. I enjoyed MTB's rockier stuff from that era, but found some of their other stuff on their earlier albums a bit too Country and Western for my tastes.
