In June 1980, Muddy Waters' backing musicians Willie Big Eyes Smith drums, Pinetop Perkins piano, Calvin Fuzz Jones bass guitar, Luther Johnson Guitar Junior guitar, Bob Margolin guitar and Jerry Portnoy harmonica quit over a salary dispute.
