The band has regularly toured European countries. Omar Kent Dykes grew up in McComb, Mississippi, began playing the guitar at age 12 and started his first band at 13. They can be identified by the wolfcloaks they traditionally wear, as well as their tendency to howl before going into battle. Most original members of the Howlers go primarily by their nicknames.
