Space Revolver is the fifth studio album by the progressive rock band The Flower Kings, released on 4 July 2000. All tracks are written by Roine Stolt, except where noted. The Japanese release contains an additional disc: Roine Stolt - vocals, guitar, bass guitar. Tomas Bodin - piano, organ, synthesizer, Mellotron. Hans Fröberg - vocals, acoustic guitar. Jonas Reingold - bass guitar. Jaime Salazar - drums. Hans Bruniusson - mallet percussion, vocals. Ulf Wallander - soprano saxophone. Sweden's The Flower Kings represent the finer elements of progressive rock as they artfully expound upon the early-'70s, much beloved British Canterbury Scene amid dashes of psychedelic rock and to a lesser extent, jazz fusion. Space Revolver takes a step in a new direction with new bassist Jonas Reingold and ditches thirty or sixty minute epics in favor of shorter epics of ten to fifteen minute epics surrounded by a higher quality of shorter songs.
