The Concordia Choir is a 72-member mixed choir of students at Concordia College, in Moorhead, Minnesota, United States. In addition to performing on campus regularly, the Concordia Choir has and continues to perform at locations around the world. Although international tours are only made once every 4 years, the choir travels around the U. for 2 weeks every year during its annual national tour in mid-late February. He is the artistic director of the Emmy Award-winning Concordia Christmas Concerts, which are frequently featured by PBS stations throughout the nation. Clausen is a renowned composer and arranger, having written dozens of commissioned compositions for famed performances, including MEMORIAL and Crying for a Dream for the American Choral Directors Association. He is also a frequent guest conductor, composer and lecturer. Conductor Rene Clausen is very well known to us for the work he has done with Moorhead MN's Concordia Choir, as Artistic Director of the Emmy-winning Concordia Christmas Concerts, and for over 100 of his own compositions for choirs at all levels.
