The Last Rocket is Takeoffs debut solo studio album. The twelve-track project boasts features from Quavo and Dayytona Fox. A private listening session was held on October 23, 2018, in which the albums title and release date were announced. Billboard wrote an article about their experience. The albums lead single, Last Memory, was released on October 26, 2018. On the Billboard Hot 100, two songs appeared on the chart after the first week. Last Memory fell to 68, having peaked at 54 as the lead single, and Casper debuted at 99. The Last Rocket is the debut studio album by American rapper Takeoff. It was released on November 2, 2018, by Capitol Records, Motown and Quality Control Music. First announced through a private party in Los Angeles, California on October 23, 2018, the album's release made Takeoff the second member of Migos to release a solo album, following Quavo's Quavo Huncho in October 2018 and preceding Offset's Father of 4 the following year. On the The Last Rockets opener, Martian, hes a greyhound burst out of the starting gate, stacking syllables nimbly over minimalistic 808 rumble. Quavo pops up on She Gon Wink for a chorus and a verse, but its essentially the Takeoff show thereafter. The album is not without its experimental flourishes: Takeoff raps in a number of different timbres on Last Memory and even tries his hand at an out-and-out pop song on Infatuation.
