Electric Boogie. The Electric Warrior Interview Pt. Raw Ramp. Rex Studio Jam. Check out the Total 1971-1972 Box, and the amazing A Whole Zinc Of Finches Box, which is filled with ultra-rare Tyrannosaurus Rex recordings. If you are not hip to the Tyrannosaurus Rex stuff, you should be, start with Unicorn or Beard of Stars, get the remasters. It is not Electric Warrior it is a horse of another colour to be sure, completely impossible to classify. Rex is the first studio album by English rock band T. Rex, and the first after shortening their name from Tyrannosaurus Rex. It was released on 18 December 1970 by record labels Fly and Reprise. The album marked a further shift from the band's previous folk style to a minimal rock sound. Rex, all the recordings as well as the cover shot were done when they still were Tyrannosaurus Rex, with the two-man lineup of singersongwriterguitarist Marc Bolan and. When Marc Bolan delivered the seminal album Electric Warrior to his record company he knew he was now free to set up his own Record label and run things his way. Over the next six months free of contracts Marc recorded the basis of what would become his next and biggest selling album The Slider for his own label The Hot Wax Co. Alongside these tracks this box set features tracks that never ever made it onto record and have been included here for the very first time.
