Written for the late drummer, John Panozzo. Appears on the live album Return to is the self-titled debut album by American rock band Styx. It was released in 1972. The band started as a cover band who played events such as weddings and birthday parties. They called themselves The Tradewinds in 1961, when the band was composed of, at 12 years of age, Chuck and John Panozzo, who played bass guitar and drums, respectively, and their neighbor, 14-year-old Dennis DeYoung on keyboards, accordion and vocals. They later named themselves TW4, after adding their college friend. Styx stɪks is an American rock band from Chicago that formed in 1972 and became famous for its albums released in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The band established itself with a progressive rock sound in the 1970s, and began to incorporate pop rock and soft rock elements in the 1980s.
