Joseph Charles Michael Tafarella May 25, 1932 June 22, 2014, better known as Steve Rossi, was an American stand-up comedian and singer, best known from his work with Marty Allen as Allen & Rossi. Born in New York City in 1932, Rossi earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication, arts and theater, Greek and Latin at Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles and served as an officer in the United States Air Force. Steve Rossi was half of the the famed comic team Allen and Rossi. Marty and Steve hooked up in 1957 to form their legendary comic team. Steve was in 30 films and has had a very successful singing career. He has sung in Las Vegas and all over the is a film appearance from Steve doing a nice number with some ladies from a 1960s movie. The team of Allen and Rossi appeared on Ed Sullivan-The Tonight Show to name a in his career Steve was Mae West's leading man in her muscleman stage show He woud sing to her and feed her comedy lines.
