Recorded between 1965-67 and originally released as a series of singles for Phoenixs Ramco label, the 12 tracks on this LP borrow Bakersfields outlaw sound and ignore Nashvilles countrypolitan flair, standing as a true lost masterpiece of country musics third generation. Sanford Clark born October 24, 1935 is an American country-rockabilly singer and guitarist, best known for his 1956 hit The Fool, written by Lee Hazlewood. Clark was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but was raised in Phoenix, Arizona, from the age of 9. He first began performing in the Phoenix area in the early 1950s.
