FYI - I was in the studio, in 1971, when River City cut these songs. Just FYI - It is "Tommy Byrd" and not Tommy Boyd. Tommy Byrd is alive, well, and making music in Austin, TX. He is part of Byrd and Street. The other backup vocalist was Dick Johnson. The guitarist is "Randy 'Fuzz" Foster" and not Bill 'Fuzz" Foster. Fuzz and I worked on a chicken egg and cattle ranch for $1.25 per hour to eat fried bologna sandwiches, drink cheap beer, and pay the rent while the band got started.

They were all musicians that understood the value of real music. Great guys too.
