Ms Gheorghiu has a voice that is not only beautiful but also so expressive. She caresses the words without ever seeming to be the least bit mannered. This Puccini ariasscenes disc has beautiful singing from Gheorghiu, however, I find a sameness in her singing, whether she be singing an aria from Butterfly or Turandot.
