This release is a far better remaster than the new one from 2016. It has more detailed structures and very balanced sound and depth.Even though it has become so fashionable to put "Remastered at the Abbey Road Studios" on tstickers and everyone believe, this is the "Non-Plus-Ultra" and nothing else can be better that that. Nonsense. I have a lot of the so-called "Abbey Road Remaster" which sounding awful compared to the original records. In my opinion, a lot of that is kinda "religious" and has very little to do with a real "remaster". It is a good business strategy to make more profit because a lot of people have jumped on the revival train of listen to vinyl (watch nowadays the increased prices for record players, don't matter if they're new or used or the labeling with 180 g on virgin vinyl ...). If someone really wants to know what "remaster" means, should listen to Steven Wilsons "Real Remaster Works". So many of the so-called remaster sounding terrible compared to the original CDs or LPs and to be honest, most of the old records of the 60ies to the late 80ies don't really need a remaster. And if they do remasterings, than they should do for vinyl a seperate one, because vinyl is completely different soundwise and technically compered to a CD.
