Woah, this and Cowboys are pretty steep in price now! Have them both in the collection and they sound awesome. Pantera rules!!!

This is the best sounding Rhino pressing I've found bar none. However, disc one has a fat lip that makes the beginning of Side B skip. If "Fucking Hostile" is your favorite track and you get a pressing like mine, you will be. To my ear, side D has a bit of a drag to it too - almost like it's slightly warped, but the flip side is fine. I haven't had the best luck with Rhino pressings, so there you go. Hopefully your experience if you decide to buy will mirror more of what others have shared here - but don't get me wrong, the tracks without the imperfections I mentioned sound phenomenal.

True that's only limited to 5000? Nothing mentiontend on cover like on other limited albums?? Thanks!

Picked one of these up today. Brand new, unopened. Played it on 11 and it sounded great. No flaws at all.

I listened again to my copy and noticed if you play few times the sibilance is gone. pfft! Now it sounds great!

Magis
Yes. All of the Pantera reissues, as great as they sound, definitely need a good solid wet cleaning before playing. The sibilance will most likely be gone right from the start if cleaned first.

Use_Death
if you want to purchase a copy of this 2LP reissue purchase the EE:UU-2010 edition!! (but take a mind, ONLY if this was pressed in 2010 with extra heavy cardborad sleeve in all Pantera 2LP edition) not the E.U because it have a very thin carboard ugly!!

Where is the outro of the album ???The rest sounds not as good as others reissues of the band. But thaht is quite good.

Dainris
Superb vinyl. The only vocal distortion I noticed is on Fucking Hostile, but I'm assuming that was intended in production as a vocal effect since it's on every version of that song I've heard. Album art is great, and the sleeves are very nice as well. Overall, an excellent vinyl.

I confirm the previous comments. Sibilance were obvious on "Mouth for War" but the rest of the tracks not so. Maybe they max the loudness of the master till they reach to the point where you get clippings. (aka loudness issue). Quite disappointed comparing to the CD copy that I have for over 20 years now.

mmmhh it´s weird because my copy (EE:UU-2010) sounds great!

Mysterious Wrench
This is a phenomenal metal album, but the sound quality is 50/50. The instruments sound great, the vocals do not. I am getting a lot of sibilance and hard "s" sounds.

Virtual
Excellent packaging and sound quality. For some reason I get slight distortion on some of the vocal parts though.
