Vanished In the short timespan that theyve been a band, Little Rock Arkansas PALLBEARER have literally defined and set a new standard in the realm of modern-day doom metal. Abnormal Listening Habits Little Rocks Pallbearer have truly build the Foundations of Burden and it's structure is glorious. One of my favorite bands currently. No digital copy with my vinyl, fixed now. Favorite track: Watcher In The Dark. Foundations of Burden is the second full-length album by the American doom metal band Pallbearer. It was released on August 19, 2014 by Profound Lore Records. On June 24, 2014, the track The Ghost I Used to Be from the album was made available for streaming on NPR, and can be purchased as a digital download from the band's Bandcamp site. All songs written and composed by Pallbearer. Brett Campbell - lead vocals, guitar, composer, lyricist. Album 2014 6 Songs. More By Pallbearer. Doom outfit Pallbearer's ascension as one of metal's crossover acts started with 2012's Sorrow and Extinction, and with the release of their brilliant second album, it's easy to imagine them gaining even more popularity. Foundations finds a band firing on all cylinders and surpassing what already seemed like a watermark for the genre. Pallbearer - Foundations Of Burden 2014. To favorites 3 Download album. Consistent, too. Every album they have released is thoroughly satisfying, although my only qualm at this stage in their career is that they all sound kind of similar. That is, the first two LPs. They would begin to evolve their sound a little with Heartless. Genre: Doom Metal. Foundations of Burden has chosen to hone in on those moments of hope and illumination, in an effort that is even more emotionally ambitious an undertaking, and all the more wounding for its beauty.
