Their album Palepoli, released in 1972, is regarded as one of the finest hours of the Italian progressive rock movement. Osanna was formed in 1971. The band was then composed of Danilo Rustici guitar, Lino Vairetti vocals, Lello Brandi bass and Massimo Guarino drums, from the band Citta Frontale, and by Elio D'Anna coming from the band Showmen.
