O'Dalaigh's Ceili Band aka The Yetties, i.e Bob Common, Pete Shutler, Mac McCulloch, Bonny Sartin - and friends: Oscar Burridge, Dave Kettlewell and the studio caretaker.
According to folkcatalogue.wordpress.com - as explained by Bonny Sartin (summary): After recording Our Friends The Yetties at Decca Studios in London Kevin Daly, the producer, came up with a plan: to record an "Irish Dancing" album for the Decca ‘World Of’ series of LPs. A band from the "Our Friends The Yetties" recording session was set up (including the caretaker of the studio on piano) and the music was recorded in few hours. Since the album was aimed for the Irish market, it was no good calling the band The Yetties. Therefore it was named O’Dalaigh’s Ceili Band.
