"Say a Little Prayer for Me" WAS issued in the U.S. on Victor 22667-A. It also happens to be at the wrong speed on this LP. playing much too slow. Sunbeam Records blew it on this one for my money! Very disappointing.

Gaiauaco

I own this LP, as well as some of the 78s of these tunes issued by Victor in the U.S. One major grievance with this LP is that there are major speed variations between the Victor 78s and the same recordings on the LP. RCA issued "Allah's Holiday" on a Camden LP (CAL 380) called WE DANCED ALL NIGHT, and that version is totally instrumental, whereas this one has a vocal. This album isn't very well produced. Fidelity is at a minimum, without much groove modulation. The Monmouth Evergreen reissues of Ray Noble material along with the RCA reissues and the 1962 Capitol 2-LP set are much more desirable than this LP, but I'd suggest that completists seeking to obtain the pre-Brunswick and Columbia material should locate HMV and Victor 78s, They sound better, even with the surface noise, than the tracks on this LP.
