Solid State 14, the follow up to their SKAteboard Music, came out at the height of the summer of ska, 3rd wave movement. It easily was on par for great success along with Reel Big Fish's turn the radio off and The Aquabats fury of the Aquabats, but received less than half the success. To me, this album was my Weezer blue. Solid State forever will be one of those albums that opened my mind to a much broader range of what a ska band could be.
