Although subtitled "Live Whilst Out Of Fashion", this album does not feature live recordings. Instead, it tries to invoke/parody the spirit of pre-war bohemian cabaret performances with canned applause…
Sleevenotes: "This live recording was recently discovered in the archives of Richmond Records. It comprises Momus songs unavailable in any other form and, as far can be verified, was made in front of a cabaret audience at The Cave Of The Golden Calf, Heddon Street, London on or about December 1910. Its release has been delayed due to the vagaries of fashion and taste. This record is dedicated to all those who conform to OTHER norms."
Initial CDs were made in France by MPO, and later in the UK.

If it paid to be straight God knows I'd be straightGod knows I'd be straight as a dieIf I could get it on with a sweet little blondeI swear I would give it a try.
