Lanzillotto praises his friend and bandmate, saying, He nailed it. He has his own studio in his bedroom. He did everything from start to finish. After Misgiver released a song in February, Jason Curnow from Innerstrength Records contacted the band. Worlds collided. As longtime fans of the label, Misgiver quickly jumped onto the roster. With that locked, the band have many plans to promote the record, playing Reduce Fest in Ontario and doing a weekend run for Cruelty of Lifes release week. Cruelty and the Beast is the third studio album by English extreme metal band Cradle of Filth. It was released on 5 May 1998 by record label Music for Nations. Cruelty and the Beast is a concept album based on the legend of the Hungarian blood countess Elizabeth Báthory. The album features guest narration on certain passages by Ingrid Pitt in-character as Báthory, a role she first played in the Hammer film Countess Dracula in 1971
