Since then, the former member of Flying Saucer Attack and AMP has relocated from Bristol to France, a move which has evidently driven his spectral music ever deeper into the brine. As indicated by its title and dissolute Parisian artwork, Drinking Songs is an album steeped heavily in spirits, both alcoholic and otherwise. Listen free to Matt Elliott Drinking songs C. Bundy, Trying to Explain and more. 8 tracks 66:26. But like Elliott's work in general the emphasis is not on lyrics for the most part - what songs have them, like The Guilty Party, feature them as distanced, very softly sung chorales, the type of drinking singalong when all at the bar are at their most reflective and melancholic. What's Wrong features slightly louder singing at points, but again compared to most they're barely there. Drinking songs, 2005. Bundy, 09:21. Trying to Explain, 02:39
