Mansun's eighth EP was released on 29th June 1998 ahead of the band's second LP Six and became their highest UK charting single, peaking at number 7 with lead track 'Legacy'. The Manson Family Album was intended to be Marilyn Manson's first studio album and is a precursor to Portrait of an American Family.
