But ever since its dissolution in the '00s, Lillevan has pushed forward to create stunning shows that go far beyond the usual VJ cliche. Rechenzentrums performances and DVD releases, as well as Lillevans collaborations and solo works have been acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, taking visual music, animation, bricolage and film manipulation to new levels. Seeing as he is as quick with his wit as he is with his visuals, RA caught up with Lillevan earlier this month to explore the non-musical side of the techno world.
