Album

Let the Tape Roll. Lew Tabackin is up to his usual high standards on this pianoless trio LP recorded for the Japanese RCA Victor in 1974 he's joined by bassist Bob Daugherty and drummer Bill Goodwin the latter known as a longtime member of Phil Woods' rhythm section. Tabackin's powerful tenor sax delivers fresh treatments of several standards, particularly the very fast Bye, Bye Blues and a lush unaccompanied solo version of A Ghost of a Chance. Lew Tabackin - Tabackin with Bob Daugherty & Bill Goodwin aka Let the Tape Roll.
